Whirring Chuck Controversial swearing art visionary Gillian Whirring is to host a special BritArt edition of Blind Date for charity purposes. The announcement follows a public outcry over Whirring's artwork for a Guardian article, which took a frank look at the way the media can turn nasty for a laugh. Her piece featured the words 'Fuck Cilla Black' in handwriting on a piece of paper. "The idea was to make a statement about the sort of people who would write that kind of thing" Whirring explained.
